As part of the teaching activities carried out by IPK, distant-learning courses are prepared and delivered through the Virtual Health Library of Cuba (UVS, acronym in Spanish), which can be accessed at  http://uvs.sld.cu

Diploma Course "Tropical and Parasitic Diseases"


At this moment, the Diploma Course "Tropical and Parasitic Diseases" is available, which includes three courses that must be completed:

   1. Update in Tropical Medicine
   2. Update in HIV/AIDS
   3. Emerging and Reemerging Diseases

Among the IPK's virtual resources there is the "Carlos J. Finlay" Museum, which exhibits a very complete collection of tropical medicine and parasitology in particular. You can visit the virtual museum through the virtual images gallery of the UVS.

The Virtual Clinics favours the exchange of experience and knowledge among well-known specialists about patients suffering from medically-interesting diseases and, mainly, about HIV/AIDS cases.
